Odessa International Medical University (OIMU) is a Ukrainian higher educational institution, located in Odessa. Because of its strong medical research base and advanced scientific units, the University is considered as one of the most influential medical institutes of Ukraine.

ACCOMMODATION

 

Odessa International Medical has six hostels. Hostels are provided with central heating, hot and cold running water, a canteen, a rest room, a sports club, a library, and free Internet etc. Furniture and bedding are ensured by the hostel itself.
There are three types of rooms – single, double and triple with attached toilet, bathroom, and kitchen. All rooms are fully furnished.

Hostels are protected 24/7 by police officers. There is a regime at the dormitories: the gates close at 11 p.m. every evening.

CITY LIFE

Odessa is in the list of three biggest cities of Ukraine. It is located in the south of the country and has access to the Black Sea. As a port city, Odessa became very popular among tourists. Now it is one of the major tourism centers of Ukraine. According to its location, the city has got a humid continental climate: summers are hot but not stuffy, and winters are cold but not freezing.

 

Due to its beauty, Odessa is called the «pearl of the Black Sea» or the «South Capital».
