AGH University of Science and Technology is a modern research higher educational institution, situated in Krakow, Poland. ACCOMMODATION
AGH University of Science and Technology owns 20 huge dormitories with more than 7000 international and non-resident students, living there. The accommodation is available to stay throughout the whole year, including the winter and summer holidays period.
The conditions at each dormitory are truly comfy and include all the facilities that are necessary for the student’s daily needs: good lighting, hot and cold running water, central heating, elevators, 24-hour Wi-Fi, free bedding items, and kitchen devices. All the premises like bedrooms, kitchens, laundries, bathrooms, study rooms, and lounge zones are fully equipped with modern furniture and appliances. Each room is shared by 2-3 just female or just male students. The security system is particularly reliable and assumes surveillance cameras together with the pass system. The distances between dwellings and studying campuses are mainly short and it takes about 15-20 minutes to get there on foot.
CITY LIFE
Krakow is a beautiful Polish city, well known for its academic and research institutions, and rich cultural and artistic life. The city is the home of numerous leading universities, providing high-quality worldwide-level education. It has an enormous amount of places to visit for both locals and tourists. The most popular spots here are Stare Miasto (Old Town), Rynek Główny (Main Square), Wawel Castle, St Mary’s Basilica, Wawel Cathedral, Kazimierz, Franciscan Church, Cloth Hall, Royal Road, and many more. Apart from that, the city has o lot of museums, theaters, art galleries and exhibitions, cinemas, nightclubs, markets, shopping centers, and public parks. ACCOMMODATION
Poznan University of Technology offers accommodation to all international and non-resident students. The dormitory is located very close to the studying campus, approximately a 2-3 minute walk. The territory of the building is absolutely safe and surrounded by surveillance cameras. The conditions in dormitories, offered to students, are comfortable with all the modern conveniences included. Each room is shared by 2-3 people. The boys and girls, in any case, live separately.
There are fully furnished bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and kitchens, studying and meeting rooms. The average accommodation price is 554 PLN per month. The very important fact is that it includes the charges for cold and hot water, electricity and Internet connection, so the residents do not spend any extra money on the additional services. Also, the dormitory has a wonderful student canteen, outdoor basketball court, football pitch, and grilling garden.
CITY LIFE
Poznan is a trade, sports, education, technology, and tourism center in Poland. The city is famous for its leading universities and scientific establishments with around 130,000 students, involved in the studying process. Thanks to the saturated and enriching history, there are a lot of interesting and absorbing places to visit.
