V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University
Vasily Nazarovich Karazin Kharkiv National University is a highly esteemed and historically significant institution in Ukraine. Karazin University holds the distinction of being the only university in Ukraine that has trained and employed three Nobel Prize laureates: biologist Ilya Mechnikov, economist Simon Kuznets, and physicist Lev Landau.

On the basis of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University operates the Language Center. Within the Language Center, students have the opportunity to study English at six different levels from Beginner to Advanced. Students have the opportunity to attend specialized English courses tailored for medical purposes, along with intensive English programs and preparation courses for internationally recognized language examinations. The Language Center offers comprehensive courses in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese. Upon successful completion of their chosen language program, students are awarded certificates reflecting their language proficiency level, particularly at the Intermediate level and beyond.
