Odesa National Medical University
Odesa National Medical University was established in 1991 and over the years of independence Ukraine turned into one of the leading medical universities of the IV level of accreditation. It is a member of the International and European Association of Universities. Today, about 8,000 students and trainees study at 5 faculties and 58 medical educational departments of the ONMU, 3000 of them are citizens of 52 foreign countries. Teaching of foreign students is carried out in Ukrainian and English medium of instruction. A postgraduate level of education is provided for more than 250 postgraduate students, trainees, masters, and medical residents. At present time at the ONMU more than 2,500 foreign students have the opportunity to use high-quality and modern information services, a new student library, and study books that are written by professors of the University and published in ONMU.
The University holds one of the oldest professional Anatomical Museums in Ukraine. The museum has more than 3,000 exhibits collected from the most remote parts of the world. Among them are hundreds of skulls and several dozen skeletons of man – representatives of different nations and races, fragments of bodies of people from the Egyptian pyramids, and archaeological excavations. The Historical Museum comprises exhibits focused on the development of the University as one of the best medical institutions in Ukraine. At present, there are 4,500 exhibits that help students study the courses of the History of ONMU.
The Library of ONMU is a modern information center that promotes high-quality educational, scientific, and teaching processes for students of all ages and citizenships. The total fund of the library contains more than 1 million books, scientific works, magazines, and articles. The ONMU Sports Complex is situated on the territory of the campus. It has 6 sports halls for various games, including wrestling, table tennis, athletics, aerobics, badminton, rhythmic gymnastics, training room (gym). Students can participate in more than 16 kinds of sports. The most popular are athletics, basketball, handball, tennis, weight lifting, swimming, football, fencing, mini-football, judo, unarmed combat, chess, badminton, and others.

Accommodation
National Pirogov Memorial Medical University has 4 dormitories. The dormitories have a total housing capacity of 1830 places. All Students Dormitory is a block-type building with learning rooms, separated bathrooms, toilets, kitchens equipped with modern amenities, and a renovated gym. The rooms are for 2-3 people, equipped with beds, mattresses, pillows, blankets, two-sided tables, one cupboard per room, and one table and chair per room. All rooms are centrally heated. The Internet is available in most rooms of the dormitory.
All the hostels for students are protected by the police. There are special rooms for students to socialize, have fun, and make new friends. Each apartment has doors that can be locked with two separate keys to ensure high security and privacy. Almost all rooms have been renovated and are equipped with televisions, refrigerators, and free Wi-Fi.
