    Bogomolets National Medical University (NMU) is a higher medical institution founded in 1841 and named after physiologist Alexander A. Bogomolets. NMU provides medical training for over 10,000 students, including about 1,300 foreigners from 56 countries. The university employs about 1,200 qualified teaching staff. Bogomolets National Medical University is one of the best medical universities in Ukraine. The university’s degree is recognized by the world’s most credible organizations like WHO, UNESCO, and MCI. As part of the cooperation agreements based on the Erasmus + International Credit Mobility Program, the NMU cooperates with such foreign healthcare institutions as Aristotle University (Greece), Kazimir Pulawski University of Technology and Humanities in Radom (Poland), Sanko University (Turkey), University of Valladolid (Spain), and Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK).

    NMU offers a wide variety of educational courses at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels and has a separate Institute for Graduate Education. The university is a pioneer in training medical specialists and research personnel in the healthcare field. Bogomolets National Medical University has a prominent academic staff consisting of 1500 professors including 855 Ph.D. and 205 Doctors of Sciences. On 26 October 2020, at a meeting of the Academic Council of the Bogomolets National Medical University, a new structural unit of the University –  the NMU Clinic. The University Clinic provides consulting, diagnostic, and inpatient medical care to the public. 

    Today, the University Clinic is home to 12 departments and is expanding its medical capacities, which will significantly upgrade the level of medical care that students will actively be engaged in during their studies.  The National Medical University provides an educational process at 59 clinical departments and units located at 162 clinical bases in medical institutions of various forms of ownership. On the base of the mentioned clinical departments medical students and graduates under the supervision of prominent specialists in medical science treat over 150,000 patients annually and perform up to 70,000 surgical interventions

    Accommodation 

    Bogomolets National Medical University has 6 renovated Student Dormitories.  The dormitory has a total housing capacity of 3,361 persons. The rooms are for 2-4 people, with renovated bathrooms and hot and cold water. Every dormitory room is equipped with modern furniture such as beds, tables, wardrobes, mattresses, pillows, blankets, TV, and free Wi-Fi. All rooms have permanent central heating. All the hostels have CCTV surveillance systems and fire alarm safety systems installed for the safety of foreigners.

    There are modern and renovated kitchens on every floor equipped with gas stoves, refrigerator, kitchen supplies, and hot water. Students Dormitories are surrounded by food stores, shops, parks, bus stops, banks, and other needed comfortable living facilities. The dorms are located near the city center, so students can visit cafes, restaurants, and museums and just go for a walk. The hostel has round-the-clock security, with a pass system (turnstile), and video surveillance installed around the perimeter of the hostel.
