Romanian-American Univerisity
The Romanian-American University is a higher education institution, a legal person of private law and public utility, part of the national system of education, founded in 1991 and accredited by Law in 2002. The Romanian-American University has educational programs in Bachelor`s, Master`s, and Doctoral levels of education, and 2 Master’s programs with double degrees in partnership with CITY College University of York Europe Campus. It offers students the opportunity to earn a higher education from both Universities and benefit from a truly international educational experience.
The Romanian-American University taking part in the Erasmus+ program. The Erasmus+ Program is an essential tool in the RAU strategy and a core element that ensures that the objectives of the internationalization strategy are successfully achieved. For RAU, internationalization is considered a strategic driver for institutional development and modernization. Through the Erasmus+ Program, the students, academic and administrative staff of the Romanian-American University, as well as students and staff of partner Universities, can benefit from international mobility experiences, with the possibility of financial support.
The Romanian-American University reconfirms the quality of the education offered and its position of excellence by obtaining in 2021 the highest qualification awarded to Romanian universities – a “High Degree of Trustâ€, offered by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, following the external evaluation process of the academic quality. In 2010 Romanian-American University received the qualification “High Confidence Rating” from ARACIS (Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education), whose mission is to offer high-quality education and research, in an intellectually stimulating environment both for students and for the teaching staff.

Accommodation
Romanian-American University provides its students with a recently renovated residence hall and hostel. The accommodation consists of more than 140 single, double, and triple bedrooms, each equipped with a private bathroom.
