Caucasus International University received a license from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Georgia in the same year. In 2005 it was granted Accreditation by the Accreditation Council of Higher Education Institutions. CIU provides the protection of the rights and interests of more than 2,500 students enrolled in educational programs based on legislation and internal normative acts. This issue is regulated by the Law of Georgia on Higher Education, Provision of CIU, Internal Regulation, Regulation for Academic Process, Code of Ethics, Provision of Library, and agreements signed with students.

Сaucasus International University has its own Business School, which is a member of the Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN), and was the first educational institution in the South Caucasus Region to be granted CEEMAN International Quality accreditation. The Caucasus School of Law, established in September 2005, is designed to fulfill the requirements established by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), and the education process is frequently monitored by foreign experts. The secondary priority of CSL is the scientific and research activities of students and professors. The students’ self-governing organization, CSL-U, is a member of the European Students’ Union (ESIB).

Accommodation

Students Hostels of Caucasus International University are equipped with central energy, water, and heat supply from the city networks. Hostel rooms are supplied with gas, water, heat, and power supply accounting devices. Due to the installation of luminaires with LED and energy-saving lamps, the reduction of electricity consumption is ensured. The number of inhabitants in one room is 2-3. Hostels meet all the necessary communal needs of the inhabitants: a set-up Internet network, Wi-Fi coverage, modern places for self-preparation and rest, kitchens, shower rooms, bathrooms, etc. The Student Hostels have well-developed health complexes, which include gyms and utility rooms, as well as sports facilities in the adjacent area. 

Students can either avail of the mess facilities or can prepare their food in the kitchens provided for the same. Kitchens are available on each floor of the hostel and can be used on a sharing basis. Reception, laundry, cleaning and washing personnel, reading room, and computer hall are always available for every hostel resident.
