The duration of the Bachelor’s program is 4 years. The Master’s program takes 2 more years. Medical courses in Ukraine last from 4 to 8 years.

All necessary materials are provided by the university and it is included in the Tuition fee. There are no extra expenses for international students.

Living as a student in Ukraine is far less expensive than in other European countries. The average monthly expenses for food are about 100-150 USD. You can live comfortably in Ukraine by spending about 500-800 USD per month (including renting an apartment, traveling, and food).
15. What is the Preparatory Course?
The Preparatory Course (PC) is a special educational program with a duration of 1 academic year. At the PC students study the Ukrainian language and the special disciplines required depending on the future specialty chosen (science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, etc.). The student receives the Certificate of the Preparatory Course after its completion. After completion of PC, the student can join major programs in Ukrainian.

The universities in Ukraine in general offer dormitories to students. Rent for a dorm room can vary between $40 and $100. The room can be shared between 2 or 3 students. Though living in a university dormitory is the best option for students, especially in the 1st year due to convenience and safety reasons, they can choose to rent a private apartment outside the campus from the second year onwards.
There are multiple types of private accommodations to choose from, the price of which depends on factors such as district, number of rooms, and facilities such as water, heating, gas, electricity, and the Internet. The annual rent for a private apartment may be between $650 and $5550, depending on the facilities and features.
Also, there is the option to stay with a family as a paying guest, which may cost between $150 and $650 per person.

28. If I have already received a bachelor’s degree in my country, can I get a second degree in Ukraine?
Certainly, if you have a bachelor’s degree, you can pursue a master’s degree at Ukrainian universities. You also have the option to choose a different field of study for your master’s degree, even if it’s unrelated to your previous bachelor’s degree.
29. How much luggage is allowed to be brought?
While there are typically no strict limitations on the weight of your luggage when traveling from your home country to Ukraine, it’s important to note that airlines usually offer a complimentary baggage allowance of approximately 20-25 kg. Extra luggage beyond this allowance will result in additional charges based on weight, which can be costly. Therefore, it is advisable to pack only essential items that might not be readily available in Ukraine, as most goods can be purchased locally. It’s recommended to include warm clothing such as a coat, boots, a hat, gloves, and a scarf, as well as personal hygiene products. If your arrival is scheduled for August or September, consider packing a light jacket, jeans, socks, and sports shoes. However, if you’re planning a trip during the winter months of December or January, it’s essential to bring a warm coat, a sweater, insulated pants, boots, a hat, and gloves to ensure comfort in colder weather conditions.
30. Can I find work while studying in Ukraine?
