University of DubrovnikÂ
The University of Dubrovnik is a public university that was established in 1996 and is located in Dubrovnik, Croatia. In 1996, in recognition of the city’s maritime traditions, it was established as the Institute of Technology and in 2003 was given full university status. The university has since diversified its list of educational courses but the Maritime Sciences remain its traditional strength. Currently, the University of Dubrovnik provides an educational process for more than 1,975 international and local students in 7 educational departments. All educational curriculums and programs are completely compatible with the Bologna Declaration, so every student or member of the academic staff has an opportunity to take part in academic mobility programs or transfer the ECTS credits to other educational institutions.

The Student Dormitory offered by University of Dubrovnik is the most modern student dormitory in the Republic of Croatia. The Dormitory is situated in the center of Dubrovnik, at walking distance from the educational buildings of the University of Dubrovnik as well as the main bus station, City Hospital, port, and Library in the city of Dubrovnik. The Dormitory offers renovated and supplied accommodation options for more than 1000 international and local students in 550 double rooms, 5 single rooms, and 5 rooms that are designated for students with physical disabilities.
The Student Dormitory offered by the University of Dubrovnik provides students with renovated rooms supplied with separate bathrooms, modern kitchens, a student restaurant, laundry, a Fitness Center, an “Academia†restaurant and coffee bar, and underground parking.
