Western Caspian University
Western Caspian University was established in 1991 and stands as the pioneering private higher education institution in Azerbaijan. Since 1992, it has held membership in the International Association of Universities under UNESCO, and since 1996, it has been a part of the European Fund for Management Development. Western Caspian University has been affiliated with the Black Sea Universities Network, the Association for European Studies on the Caucasus (AESC), the Political Studies Association (PSA), the European Philosophy of Science Association (EPSA), the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UIAA), the UN Mountain Partnership Program, and the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA).
Western Caspian University provided a high-quality educational process at 8 faculties, 11 educational departments, and 22 chairs. WCU team consists of 152 members of academic staff, among them are 27 Doctors of science and 42 associate professors. The University accepts students from all over the world regardless of race, sex, language, nationality, or religion. The international community at the University includes students from Turkey, Albania, Portugal, Georgia, Iran, Nepal, and Russia. WCU’s multicultural family creates a favorable environment for education and training. It offers students the opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to keep up with the demands of a rapidly changing world.
Western Caspian University invites lecturers from the US, UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, etc. WCU provides students with an opportunity to study abroad in Europe, the United States, and other countries for both short and long-term immersion. International students have the opportunity to participate in international student exchange programs like Erasmus Mundus, Mevlana, etc. WCU offers an MBA in collaboration with the University of Business and International Studies (UBIS), Switzerland.

Accommodation
Western Caspian University offers students the chance to reside in an upgraded student residence, conveniently situated a 15-minute stroll from the Campus. Restaurants, cafes, and other areas of interest are also nearby. Students are accommodated in shared dorm rooms, each housing two students and paired with other program participants. Dormitory rooms are equipped with two beds, individual workstations with shelving, wardrobe space, a mini-refrigerator, and a private bathroom. Bed linens and towels are provided, and there are on-site laundry facilities available for use at an additional cost.
On each floor of the dormitory, students have access to common amenities such as a shared kitchen and study area, Wi-Fi, a Fitness Center, and an in-house student eatery. The program includes a comprehensive meal plan, covering lunch and dinner daily at the main dormitory restaurant. The restaurant serves a variety of daily specials, a salad bar, soups, beverages, and desserts. A grocery store is conveniently located within a short walking distance from the Student’s Dormitory, and international students can explore nearby cafes and restaurants for a taste of local and international cuisine.
