ADMISSION PROCESS

The admission process consists of 5 easy steps that make it fast and comfortable to complete. Now read the information attentively and do not hesitate to ask us for assistance if it is required:

Step 1. Apply Online

If you have already chosen the University and faculty of your dream, the information about the tuition fees is clear for you, and you are willing to study in Ukraine — you can easily apply online by filling in the form on our website. You can also send us the following documents by email.

The documents you need to provide in order to get an Admission Confirmation letter:

Filled Application Form
Copy of International Passport or ID Card (should be valid for at least 2 years)
Copy of Higher Secondary School Certificate (marks included)

As soon as you are accepted, we will send you the Admission Confirmation Letter in one working day.

Step 2. Get an Invitation Letter

To get the Invitation Letter from the Ukrainian University you will have to provide us with the following documents:

The receipt that confirms a charge of the Invitation Letter
Copy of International Passport (should be valid for at least 2 years)
Copy of School Certificate (marks included)

You will have to send these documents to the Alfred Education Group Office as soon as you receive the Admission Confirmation letter from the university of your choice.

Please, note! Make sure that all the documents are possible to read and understand, scan them properly, and check twice before sending.

Invitation Letters are issued by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine. Depending on the university it takes 10-21 working days for the Invitation Letter to be released. After receiving all the documents and payment, once the Invitation Letter is ready, we will send you the Original Invitation Letter by courier. Or you can pick it up in the Alfred Education Group Office.

Step 3. Obtain a VISA

After getting an Invitation Letter you will have to contact the Ukrainian Embassy in your country. To get your VISA approved you will have to prepare the following documents:

Filled Application Form (you can fill online at http://visa.mfa.gov.ua )
Original Passport or ID card(valid for two years minimum)
Secondary School Certificate (attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
Bank Statement
Insurance
Official Invitation letter

Step 4. Arrive in Ukraine

The International Office of your University informs the Migration Service of Ukraine with the official letter about your arrival at the airport. When passing the passport control at the airport the Border Service verifies if the official representative mentioned in your official letter is meeting you.

When passing the border control — you will be asked several questions and you should explain which university you are going to, which faculty you’ve entered, who is picking you up at the airport. Make sure you have a payment slip with covered complete first-year expenses according to Admission Letter.

Mention that if an international student doesn’t inform us about their arrival in advance — they will be deported back to their country!

Step 5. Complete the Admission Process and Start the Classes

After arriving in Kyiv or any other Ukrainian city, you should provide us with all the documents and receipts to complete the admission process. The staff of the International Relations Office of the University will complete the admission process and registration process in 1-3 working days and you can start your classes immediately. Ukrainian Education awaits!

APPLICATION STEPS

1. Fill the application form and upload the required documents

2. Pay university application fee or acceptance fee

3. Your application will be evaluated within 15-30 days

4. If your application is accepted you will receive your Pre Admission Letter

5. After receiving Pre-Admission Letter, advance tuition deposit of your first semester or full will be charged from applicant in order to issue your Admission Letter

6. After confirming the deposit payment of student, you will receive your Admission letter to apply for visa.

HOW TO OBTAIN VISA

If necessary, upon acceptance into a university, begin the visa application process as soon as possible. Because the process can take up to sixty days and requires several important documents, do not wait. Students from countries outside the country will not be allowed to enter and stay in the country if they are not in possession of the proper visa.

For Graduate Degree applicants (Master/PhD) visa requirements:

A complete application form
Letter of Admission from University
Notarized Bank Statement and history with sufficient funds for the past at least 1 year
Notarized Attestation of Bank Account
Notarized Attestation of Bank Balance
Letter of Motivation/ Explanation
Birth Certificate
Notarized Proof of ownership, properties from parents (houses, businesses, Lands etc)
Police Clearance
Scholarship and Sponsorship letter if you were awarded scholarship from university or organization.
Affidavit of Support from parents if you are not supporting yourself
Round Trip plane tickets
Guarantee Investment Certificate
Letter of Employment
Certificate of Integrity (from church or legal institution).
Three Letters of Recommendation from one of your university professors, Deans, and Church
Letter of Attestation of Service (from your parents)
Proof of payment of your tuition
Proof of payment of accommodation

For students who are under 18 years old.

If the student is under 18 years old, a birth certificate and the student’s parents’ traveling approval are required.

(Where it has to be mentioned that the student is allowed to study abroad) are required.

Note: If the documents are in another language other than English, a notarized translation should also be submitted.

AFTER

After you arrived to Ukraine, you have to show complete documents and the Payment Check of Complete First Year Fee as it is mentioned in the Admission Confirmation Letter to the Department of International Relations.

! Students have to pay Complete First Year Fee before arrival to avoid any problems with Migration Clearance of Ukraine.

Upon arrival students must have cash money in USD/ EURO!

Assure you have cash money in USD/ EURO for the moment of arrival to Ukraine. It’s impossible or very hard to change your national currency or even use your local credit cards here in Ukraine.

! FOR PARENTS!

Please, INFORM students to take ALL their documents and money in hand luggage on a board in order not to lose them as it sometimes happens.
Students should bring all the original documents which you sent us by E-mail and the Payment Check of Complete First Year Fee.

Attention! Alfred education group team will give you a receipt in which all the payments will be written. You don’t have to find it anywhere.
