Admission process

The admission process consists of 5 easy steps that make it fast and comfortable to complete. Now read the information attentively and do not hesitate to ask us for assistance if it is required: 

 

Step 1. Apply Online

If you have already chosen the University and faculty of your dream, the information about the tuition fees is clear for you, and you are willing to study in Ukraine —  you can easily apply online by filling in the form on our website. You can also send us the following documents by email. 

 

The documents you need to provide in order to get an Admission Confirmation letter: 

 

  • Filled Application Form
  • Copy of International Passport or ID Card (should be valid for at least 2 years)
  • Copy of  Higher Secondary School Certificate (marks included)

 

As soon as you are accepted, we will send you the Admission Confirmation Letter in one working day.

 

Step 2. Get an Invitation Letter

To get the Invitation Letter from the Ukrainian University you will have to provide us with the following documents:

 

  • Copy of International Passport (should be valid for at least 2 years)
  • Copy of School Certificate (marks included)
  • The receipt that confirms a charge of the Invitation Letter ( $400 ) and courier charges ( $100 )

 

You will have to send these documents to the Alfred Educational Group Office as soon as you receive the Admission Confirmation letter from the university of your choice. Mention that all the documents should be possible to read and understand, scan them properly and check twice before sending.

 

Available payment methods: Bank transfer, Western Union, Money Gram.

 

Invitations are issued by the Federal Migration Service. It takes 7-10 working days to get a confirmation in Ukraine. After receiving all the documents and payment, we will send you the Original Invitation Letter by courier. 

 

 

Step 3. Obtain a VISA

After getting an Invitation Letter you will have to contact the Ukrainian Embassy in your country. To get your VISA approved you will have to prepare the following documents: 

 

  • The original passport or ID card
  • Secondary School Certificate
  • General Health-Medical Certificate
  • Aids/HIV test
  • Official Invitation Letter from the University 
  • 2 Passport size photos (the information may vary for different countries)

 

For international students from Azerbaijan, Abkhazia, Southern Ossetia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Armenia, and Uzbekistan a VISA is not required.

 

Step 4. Arrive in Ukraine

The International Office of your University informs the Migration Service of Ukraine with the official letter about your arrival at the airport. When passing the passport control at the airport the Border Service verifies if the official representative mentioned in your official letter is meeting you. 

 

When passing the border control — you will be asked several questions and you should explain which university you are going to, which faculty you’ve entered, who is picking you up at the airport. Make sure you have enough money to pay the university fees and cover other expenses. 

 

Mention that if an international student doesn’t inform us about their arrival in advance — they will be deported back to their country!  

 

Step 5. Complete the Admission Process and Start the Classes 

After arriving in Kyiv or any other Ukrainian city, you should provide us with all the documents and receipts you have to complete the admission process. You can pay the first-year tuition in cash or by bank transfer. The staff of the International Relations Office of the University will complete the admission process and registration process in 1-3 working days and you can start your classes immediately. Ukrainian Education awaits!
