ADMISSION PROCESS

The admission process consists of 5 easy steps that make it fast and comfortable to complete. Step 1. Apply Online

If you have already chosen the University and faculty of your dream, the information about the tuition fees is clear for you, and you are willing to study in Georgia — you can easily apply online by filling in the form on our website. You can also send us the following documents by email.

The documents you need to provide in order to get an Admission Confirmation letter:

Filled Application Form
Copy of International Passport or ID Card (should be valid for at least 2 years)
Copy of Higher Secondary School Certificate (marks included)

As soon as you are accepted, we will send you the Admission Confirmation Letter in one working day.

Step 2. Pass the Online Language Interview

To get the Invitation Letter from the Georgian University you will have to pass the Zoon interview to confirm the English level in order for the University to be sure the students are able to study the course with English Minimum of Instruction.

Step 3. Cover the Tuition and Admission Fee

In case a student is eligible to study we provide a pre-acceptance letter with instructions for the student to pay the admission fee ($500). Applicant’s documents are submitted to the Ministry of Education of Georgia so we could issue a letter of information and an Invoice for payment of first-year tuition fees. First-year students must pay tuition fees at once in order to obtain an Invitation Letter. After the student covers the tuition fee fully, we issue an invitation letter.

You will have to send the following documents to the Alfred Educational Group Office as soon as you receive the Admission Confirmation letter from the university of your choice and pass the Zoom interview. Mention that all the documents should be possible to read and understand, scan them properly and check twice before sending.

Available payment methods: Bank transfer, Western Union, Money Gram.

Invitations are issued by the Federal Migration Service. It takes 7-10 working days to get a confirmation in Georgia.

Step 4. Obtain a VISA

After getting an Invitation Letter you will have to contact the Georgian Embassy in your country or any country near your hometown. To get your VISA approved you will have to prepare the following documents:

Letter of enrollment in the authorized education institution in Georgia
Proof of financial means
Bank statements from the past 6 months
Proof of sponsorship
Proof of paying the tuition fee
Proof of previous academic qualifications
Admission letter from the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science
International Passport
Passport size photos
School certificate (WAEC, NECO, etc)
Birth certificate
Medical certificate
Police character certificate
Health Insurance Certificate
NEET exam paper (for Indian students only)

Step 5. Arrive in Georgia

The International Office of your University informs the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA) about your arrival at the airport with the official letter. When passing the passport control at the airport the Border Police verifies if the official representative mentioned in your official letter is meeting you.

When passing the border control — you will be asked several questions and you should explain which university you are going to, which faculty you’ve entered, and who is picking you up at the airport. Make sure you have enough cash money to pay the university fees and cover other expenses.

Mention that if an international student doesn’t inform us about their arrival in advance — they will be deported back to their country!

After arriving in Georgia, you should provide us with all the documents and receipts you have to complete the admission process. The staff of the International Relations Office of the University will complete the admission process and registration process in 1-3 working days and you can start your classes immediately. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Requirements For Undergraduate Programs (Medicine)

To study Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, or any other subject available at the Georgian University we expect our students to study the specific subjects at School or College before:

Biology
Chemistry
Physics

The School Certificate must contain the marks obtained for the subjects. If the students did not choose the medical disciplines or did not study them at school at all, they must go through the Premedical Department of our Universities to study Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The Preparatory Department will also help to study a new language (Georgian or Russian) to adapt to the new environment easier.

Georgian Universities do not require any specific marks or grades, you need only Grade 12 Completion or Higher Secondary School Passing certificate. If you only have gained Grade 10 you will also have to go through the Preparatory Medical Department. If you apply for courses taught in the Georgian or Russian language, you will have to take the language Preparatory Courses.

Requirements For Postgraduate / Masters/ Doctorate/ Clinical Residency Programs (Medicine)

To obtain the Ph.D. / Doctorate Degree you have to provide Us with:

MBBS / MD / BDS Degree

Certificate of Completion of the Internship

Certificate of Completion the Clinical Residency (for Ph.D. students\ If available)

Postgraduate Medical Education Certificate

There are no specific requirements for your previously obtained Higher Educational Degree, Internship, Clinical Residency, or Postgraduate Education. No matter how many years your undergraduate program lasted or what hospital your Internship took place at. Only certificates are required to apply and start the admission process.

Requirements For Non-Medical Masters And Ph.D. Programs:

To obtain the Masters in Public Health, MBA, M.Phil, Ph.D., and other Master’s programs in Georgia you will have to provide us with Bachelor’s or Master’s diploma with transcripts.

It is not necessary to enter the same faculty and specialty that you have obtained before. You can choose any University and program of study and consult with our representative in order to find the right option for you.

TRANSFER STUDENTS

If you began your academic career at your hometown institution, earned some credits through completion of coursework, and decided to transfer to Georgian University to finish your education – we will help you with that! Georgian Universities accept competent and eligible transfer students from around the globe. The students from different countries can validate their academic transcript and if the Georgian University training program complies with your gained knowledge, marks, and experience, you will be able to become a part of the University of your choice.

Students applying for the transfer program must provide the following documents:

The Official academic transcripts of previously attended colleges, schools, and universities
The School Certificate
The International Passport (traveling document)
The complete application form

All the documents should be translated into English. These documents will be applied to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia for certification to calculate the difference in academic requirements and credits. If the Ministry of Education and Science considers your qualification equal to the Georgian educational standards, you will receive the Approval Certificate to start the classes.

The admission of students is based on their academic results and credits. The requirements of the Universities’ courses are different, that is why you need to consult on this question with Alfred Education Transfer Manager. HOW TO OBTAIN VISA

Georgia has one of the simpler visa processes when it comes to international studying. In your home country or the nearest country to you with a Georgian embassy or consulate, you’ll need to apply for a Category D3 visa — A Study VISA. You’ll need to visit the embassy or consulate in person. As soon as you are accepted into a Georgia educational institution when you apply for the Georgia Student Visa, you will need the following:

Please note that you need to prepare your VISA documents ONLY AFTER getting an invitation letter from Alfred education group. This letter will help you to get a visa faster! The VISA full process takes about 10 days.

PREDEPARTURE BRIEFING

Pre-departure briefings are events run by Alfred Education Group in the home countries of our students worldwide, for anyone planning to study in Georgia. They are usually held for several hours and include talks and workshops that give our students the advice they need to start their international studies with confidence.

We inform you about the most affordable tickets to Georgia, provide you with information about the best flights and flight providers, and help book the appropriate flight. You should provide Our representative with all information about arrival details: the flight number, date, time, and port of arrival at least a week before your arrival as soon as you buy tickets. The representative of Alfred Education Group will meet you at the airport upon arrival.

Attention! Be sure to contact Alfred education group in time, otherwise, without our representative at the airport, you will be deported back to your country according to the rules and regulations of the immigration authorities of Georgia. Predeparture Briefings are a very important part of your successful and easy arrival so please do not ignore this opportunity!

We advise you to arrive in the city where your university is located so you will get to the city faster. If it is impossible, come to the capital of Georgia. ARRIVAL AND AIRPORT PICKUP

Upon your arrival in Georgia, you will have to prepare the complete document pack including the Payment Check of the Complete First Year Fee as it is mentioned in the Admission Confirmation Letter to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA).

A Georgian visa allows you to travel to the country through a border checkpoint reserved for cross-border movement and request permission from the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA) to enter the country. While having a visa does not guarantee entry to Georgia, it does indicate a consular officer at Georgian Embassy or Consulate abroad has determined you are eligible to seek entry for that specific purpose. Border Police inspectors are responsible for the admission of travelers to Georgia, for a specified status and period of time.

That is why you need to provide us with your flight information in order to not be reported back to your home country. Do not cross the border control without the representative! Upon arrival, students must also have enough cash money in USD/ EURO to cover the living expenses!

FOR PARENTS!

Please, INFORM students to keep ALL their documents and money in hand luggage on a board in order not to lose them as it sometimes happens. Students should bring all the original documents which you sent us by E-mail and the Payment Check of the Complete First Year Fee.
