ADMISSION PROCESS

Almost every degree program in Canada will be taught in English. Whether you’re an undergraduate or graduate student, there are degrees in a multitude of fields across disciplines. Canada is internationally renowned for a variety of programs, including its humanities, business, and science programs.

HOW TO APPLY?

For Undergraduate Degree applicants:

  • Scanned copy of applicant passport
  • High School Diploma
  • Transcript (grades)
  • Letter of Motivation/ Explanation
  • Recommendation Letter
  • WAEC/WASSCE Certificate/Online result
  • English Language Proficiency Exam scores such as TOEFL/IELTS (if available).
  • A passport and a portfolio of previous work, if applicable

 

 

For Graduate Degree applicants (Master/PhD):

  • Scanned Passport copy
  • Bachelor Degree/Master Degree
  • Transcript (grades)
  • Resume/CV
  • English Proficiency Test result (optional)
  • 2 References Letters (Master/PhD).
  • For PhD programs only, Candidates whose diplomas aren’t ready can provide or submit temporary graduation certificates.

 

 

APPLICATION STEPS

1.     Fill the application form and upload the required documents

2.     Pay university application fee or acceptance fee

3.     Your application will be evaluated within 15-30 days

4.     If your application is accepted you will receive your Pre Admission Letter

5.     After receiving Pre-Admission Letter, advance tuition deposit of your first semester or full will be charged from applicant in order to issue your Admission Letter

6.     After confirming the deposit payment of student, you will receive your Admission letter to apply for visa. 

HOE TO OBTAIN VISA

If necessary, upon acceptance into a Canadian university, begin the visa application process as soon as possible. Because the process can take up to sixty days and requires several important documents, do not wait. Students from countries outside Canada will not be allowed to enter and stay in Canada if they are not in possession of the proper visa.

Full Documents for Visa Application:

For Undergraduate Degree applicants:

  • A complete application form
  • Letter of Admission from University of Canada
  • Notarized Bank Statement and history with sufficient funds for the past at least 1 year (proof of length of study and living cost)
  • Notarized Attestation of Bank Account
  • Notarized Attestation of Bank Balance
  • Letter of Motivation
  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of ownership, properties
  • Police Clearance
  • Scholarship and Sponsorship letter if you were awarded scholarship from university or organization.
  • Letter of Ownership, properties etc…
  • Affidavit of Support if you are not supporting yourself
  • Round Trip plane tickets
  • Guarantee Investment Certificate from Canada (optional)
  • Proof of returning home after study
  • Confirmation of Employment
  • Certificate of Integrity (from church or legal institution).
  • Letter of Recommendation from one of your school teacher
  • Letter of Attestation of Service (from your parents)

 

 

For Graduate Degree applicants (Master/PhD) visa requirements:

  • A complete application form
  • Letter of Admission from University of Canada
  • Notarized Bank Statement and history with sufficient funds for the past at least 1 year
  • Notarized Attestation of Bank Account
  • Notarized Attestation of Bank Balance
  • Letter of Motivation/ Explanation
  • Birth Certificate
  • Notarized Proof of ownership, properties from parents (houses, businesses, Lands etc)
  • Police Clearance
  • Scholarship and Sponsorship letter if you were awarded scholarship from university or organization.
  • Affidavit of Support from parents if you are not supporting yourself
  • Round Trip plane tickets
  • Guarantee Investment Certificate from Canada (optional)
  • Proof of returning home after study
  • Letter of Employment
  • Certificate of Integrity (from church or legal institution).
  • Three Letters of Recommendations from one of your university professors, Deans and Church
  • Letter of Attestation of Service (from your parents)
  • Proof of payment of your tuition
  • Proof of payment of accommodation

 

For students who are under 18 years old.

If the student is under 18 years old, a birth certificate and the student’s parents’ traveling approval are required.

(Where it has to be mentioned that the student is allowed to study abroad) are required.

Note: If the documents are in another language other than English, a notarized translation should also be submitted.
